The Udyam Registration is an online registration process launched by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in India. This registration is mandatory for all micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to avail various benefits provided by the government such as subsidies, schemes, and loans. The registration process is entirely online and can be done through the official Udyam Registration portal. The registration process requires the applicant to provide their Aadhaar card number and other relevant details of their business. After successful registration, an MSME is issued a unique identification number called the Udyam Registration Number.
