Demodex mites are not usually referred to as ear mites in humans, but studies in recent years have shown that this type of mite can also cause complications in the human ear. 😥

Demodex lives in the pores of the skin and usually prefers oily areas. For this reason, they may choose inside or around the ear canal to feed on the superabundant fat in the area. 😲

That’s why they can cause problems in your ear as an ear mite.
